When Roman Cesario came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Karasuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Cesario couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Cesario got free with Carlos Eduardo Ramos in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nemesio Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Bock in the 13th minute of the match. Nemesio Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Bock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Handi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Bock in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ziya Di Maria made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Handi. Karasuno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nemesio Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Bock, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Monchi Trejos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walter Bock in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Handi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Bock in the 45th minute of the match. If Leo Hark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Cesario to make the kick off. Roman Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Roman Cesario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Karasuno's Vecdi Tamkut got a free kick in the 81st minute. A hard shot by Christian Castillo from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Nemesio Handi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roman Cesario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nemesio Handi was a little too slow when Walter Bock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-2. Roman Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 played minutes Karasuno got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Estevez. The Karasuno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buenaventura FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
