An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanley Morrison in the 11th minute of play forced ✩ Pep Team ✩'s goalkeeper Spase Kastrati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakov Bundev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yánez Aldaeta having to interfere. Hanley Morrison scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spase Kastrati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakov Bundev in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yánez Aldaeta saved Club Atlético Univ. UASD from getting behind. After 21 minutes, Jakov Bundev made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Yánez Aldaeta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Omar Palma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spase Kastrati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Sultan-Mehmet Khan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yánez Aldaeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the last second Spase Kastrati throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hanley Morrison in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Omar Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakov Bundev in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Univ. UASD's goalkeeper Yánez Aldaeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute ✩ Pep Team ✩ were awarded a corner. Jakov Bundev went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Jimmy Hjälm heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casimiro Villanueva made a kick off. Jakov Bundev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Yánez Aldaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ville Manneroos's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Univ. UASD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ville Manneroos helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of ✩ Pep Team ✩:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Univ. UASD:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Club Atlético Univ. UASD. Casimiro Villanueva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Spase Kastrati. 2-2. Jimmy Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Yánez Aldaeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Franck Gamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yánez Aldaeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omar Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franck Gamel in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yánez Aldaeta saved Club Atlético Univ. UASD from getting behind. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Univ. UASD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jakov Bundev was slow to take the kick. During this time ✩ Pep Team ✩'s players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Ville Manneroos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Yánez Aldaeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakov Bundev in the 89th minute. When Omar Palma fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Univ. UASD's protests and gave Omar Palma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Club Atlético Univ. UASD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Palma to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Yánez Aldaeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Univ. UASD from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Univ.
