The supporters of FC FERNET BOYS booed when Karasuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Mussi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Roman Cesario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lukáč Vranka having to make a save. In the 71st minute Andrej Ďuriš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erland Arhenius got free with Nemesio Handi in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nemesio Handi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erland Arhenius in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Ďuriš in the 77th minute of play forced Karasuno's goalkeeper Nemesio Handi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Handi made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Erland Arhenius sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Karasuno getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC FERNET BOYS's Andrej Ďuriš slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Handi. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play. The Karasuno fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC FERNET BOYS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
