After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Godfredo Gau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Drâmba came out of the goal and Godfredo Gau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Unicorns ™'s Isac Drâmba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 16th minute of play. Lionel-Andrés Messi took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Drâmba. Isac Drâmba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 18 minutes of play, Defensores de Lombroso's Godfredo Gau made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Drâmba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isac Drâmba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel-Andrés Messi's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 28 minutes of play, Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Amadeo Raebert replaced Roman Riquelme. After the first half Defensores de Lombroso were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lionel-Andrés Messi to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Teofilo Esdras got a free kick in the 74th minute. Teofilo Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Isac Drâmba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Sauveur in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Ruşdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unicorns ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Celso Sauveur scored to the left of an out of position Isac Drâmba, making the score, 0-12. Celso Sauveur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Celso Sauveur came free, but Isac Drâmba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celso Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
