Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Eğriöz in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Ben-Ami Gol put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mira Pene. With an all-out effort, Barreal FC's Mira Pene threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adelino Corrêa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Paso FC's Oktay Eğriöz, in the 29th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Paso FC. Oktay Eğriöz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dário Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paso FC. Mira Pene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo-Enrique Scholes in the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 34th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Adelino Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mira Pene was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Oktay Eğriöz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Tepedino. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oktay Eğriöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paso FC's Denis Rivas was substituted for Oktay Eğriöz. After 58 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Cresitobalo. 59 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Guang Chen came free, but Mira Pene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Rivas got free with Dário Tepedino in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Rivas might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Rivas ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Joakim Giliusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match, Denis Rivas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dário Tepedino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute of the match Paso FC got a corner. Barreal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvestre Ellande ran over to the corner to take the kick. Denis Rivas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Tepedino came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Rivas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 88th minute. The Paso FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Paso FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
