After 10 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn De Hond. Thanks to some nice moves Hıdır Namal could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Zé Roberto Teixeira however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Rene Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Teixeira was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanalp Öksal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 29th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stamen Tekeliev was the one to do the kick off. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Aires in the 58th minute of the match. Loco De Remate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stamen Tekeliev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 74th minute, Alvise Catapano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Luix. Loco De Remate's Clodoveo Christobal was substituted for Rene Aires. After 81 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Luix. The Playa Malvín supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Playa Malvín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
