De Boedo Vengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chen Ao Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kurt Hamrin hit a great ball. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Kevin Keegan sent off a good shot on target. After 17 minutes, Abelardo Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the Skövde AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abelardo Felipo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Charamut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Wawrzyniec Charamut successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Aresti in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Norström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute of the match De Boedo Vengo got a corner. Skövde AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Aresti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Placido Jenaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Erik Norström having to make a save. Karl-Erik Norström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Gheară's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Luca Pedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kevin Keegan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Roderigo in the 46th minute of play.

Karl-Erik Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Gheară, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Roderigo got free with Karl-Erik Norström in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 52nd play minutes Placido Jenaro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Karl-Erik Norström and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 56th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luca Pedro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Luca Pedro hit a great ball. Lisandro Roderigo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 64thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Karl-Erik Norström would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Chen Ao Fan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Skövde AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chen Ao Fan couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Wawrzyniec Charamut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Boedo Vengo's Placido Jenaro got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Charamut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Charamut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. De Boedo Vengo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
