An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Markham in the 12th minute of play forced KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes KFC Vliegplein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christer Ribe who took care of the corner kick. Matthy Algoedt tried in the game's 14th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Teo De Jonge. An annoying self made goal, 1-1. In the 17thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthew Lijsens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Ferdinand Weijnants received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Frode Tobiassen. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Teo De Jonge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frode Tobiassen charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frode Tobiassen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Ferdinand Weijnants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brufoss IL's Borys Witek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ferdinand Weijnants put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Witek. 38 minutes into the game, Eddy Laporte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Vliegplein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte got a free kick in the 38th minute. Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Teo De Jonge but with some difficulty. After 41 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Matthy Algoedt. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Markham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo De Jonge was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Emanuel Markham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brufoss IL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Markham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Markham was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Frode Tobiassen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borys Witek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Weijnants's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Frode Tobiassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. August Bergsland hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Emanuel Markham in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led Brufoss IL's August Bergsland to fire away a dangerous shot which Teo De Jonge despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kai Østbye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo De Jonge having to interfere. Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Markham in the 92nd minute of the match. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
