Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cosa nostra Lyon's Vivien Contant started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Vivien Contant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Opdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vivien Contant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leif Opdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Contant in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham got a free kick in the 24th minute. Leif Opdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivien Contant's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Vivien Contant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39th play minutes Vivien Contant shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Leif Opdal and just under the crossbar into goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Kai Østbye from a close distance when the talented Clem Fath managed to make a qualified save. Cosa nostra Lyon's players were relieved. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Vivien Contant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Brufoss IL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cosa nostra Lyon were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Markham was the one to do the kick off. Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Østbye in the 52nd minute of play. When Vivien Contant came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cosa nostra Lyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vivien Contant couldn't finish the play. Cosa nostra Lyon's Vivien Contant got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Frode Tobiassen came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Markham in the 69th minute of play. Leif Opdal made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Vivien Contant sent off a good shot on target. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Tobiassen in the 74th minute of the match. Brufoss IL's August Bergsland was substituted for Frode Tobiassen. After 75 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by Anatole Jannin. In the 76th minute of the match August Bergsland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clem Fath skillfully saved the ball. If Vivien Contant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes in the game Tom Utheim did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jakob Lode. Vivien Contant received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leif Opdal came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivien Contant slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 88th minute. The Cosa nostra Lyon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cosa nostra Lyon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
