Auktsjaur IF's attack was well implemented in the 15th minute, but when Patryk Frodyma was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Gunnar Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivien Contant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Brovall in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Auktsjaur IF's Gottfrid Brovall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 36th match minute, Cosa nostra Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibault Buffiere to maneuver through the defense. When Hercule Frison came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cosa nostra Lyon fans jumped to their feet. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivien Contant to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath got control of the ball when Gunther Stub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gunnar Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivien Contant in the 60th minute of play.
