Cecilio Orlan replaced Eriberto Louis. 7 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Pietro came free, but Jens-Ola Mellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Mellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Pietro. 9 minutes into the game, Alfons Sjögren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Bobo y El Bocho the free kick. Alfons Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. During the 10th minute of the match Wiktor Sillén completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wiktor Sillén a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sonstorps Fotboll! Jens-Ola Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Pietro in the 14th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Olof Arvidsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Bobo y El Bocho's Marcelo Celino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Pietros short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Jens-Ola Mellberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sonstorps Fotboll's Jens-Ola Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Pietro in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Osvaldo Pietro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Bobo y El Bocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Pietro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 36th play minutes Osvaldo Pietro shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jens-Ola Mellberg and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute, Osvaldo Pietro made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. Sonstorps Fotboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 43rd match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Sillén to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sonstorps Fotboll booed when El Bobo y El Bocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Pietro to make the kick off. Jens-Ola Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Pietro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Pietro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Mellberg was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Alfons Sjögren was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alfons Sjögren hit a great ball. The supporters of El Bobo y El Bocho booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Vibjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Kjellman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Victoriano Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Mellberg came out of the goal and Victoriano Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Pietro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ola Mellberg. Jens-Ola Mellberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Cecilio Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Osvaldo Pietro put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. If Adrian Vibjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Pietro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Mellberg saved Sonstorps Fotboll from getting behind. Jens-Ola Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Pietro in the 91st minute of the match.
