Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudolf Blom in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Ravelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La vecchia signora's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Blom in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Carlberg got free with Jan Mager in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Rune Bagge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Dahlqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Mager was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Nils-Emil Carlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Thomas Ravelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 66th match minute, Brutal DeLuxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Thomas Ravelli made a huge save. Michael Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jan Mager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
