Alfred Drugis short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Jens-Ola Mellberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The shot was stopped by Jens-Ola Mellberg but with some difficulty. 22 minutes into the game, Olof Arvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bartosz Kubiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Sjögren. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolek Tomaka couldn't finish the play. If Aureliusz Adamski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's Ulrik Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartosz Kubiak narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
