In the 6th minute Dirk McMillian suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Arnoldo Machado's late challenge caught a Atlético Patoruzu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Machado helped the player get up and apologised. Atlético Patoruzu made a substitution. Ismael Esparza replaced Dirk McMillian. After 7 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Machado. FMArgentina's Gaspar Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoff Ackerman in the 10th minute of play. Waldo Hills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Dominix in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Connor Presley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Sazon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geoff Ackerman in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Argina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Uxio in the 20th minute of play forced Atlético Patoruzu's goalkeeper Waldo Hills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FMArgentina booed when Atlético Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curt Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Camilo Precioso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldo Hills skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goalkeeper Gaspar Argina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrell Cochran. Waldo Hills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Uxio in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Patoruzu getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leonard Hinton hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyrell Cochran got free with Gaspar Argina in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miguel Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrell Cochran came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Argina could save by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Justino Uxio made the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Waldo Hills made a huge save. Arnoldo Machado came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldo Hills could save by the left post. With his leg Waldo Hills managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when FMArgentina's Justino Uxio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gaspar Argina came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Patoruzu's Connor Presley. But to his dismay, Connor Presley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Miguel Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. FMArgentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldo Hills breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Leonard Hinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Atlético Patoruzu booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Atlético Patoruzu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Crandall to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldo Hills having to interfere.
