When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Martín Palermo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for José Maria Goiano to make any attempt to save it. Przemyslaw Prusek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baltazar Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Daniel Justiniano in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Păvăloae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Chaves in the 30th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Przemyslaw Prusek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Gervasio Favila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Metal Juniors and the OxentePaisa Salcity players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the OxentePaisa Salcity players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
