In the 33rd minute, Chen Jun Yan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arda Göksel Yalman made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marcelo-Luis Butcher sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Hawk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berke Gümüşsoy's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Harman in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arda Göksel Yalman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 79 minutes, Vicente Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEŞİKTAŞK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, BEŞİKTAŞK's Vicente Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Hawk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. If Garip Yalçınkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute of the match Berke Gümüşsoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Hawk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Pedro Azulay hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Rodriguez's zone, Vicente Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Hawk came out of the goal and Vicente Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Deportivo Rodriguez supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BEŞİKTAŞK's performance. The match ended with a win for BEŞİKTAŞK.
