Jonatan Dantae ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Cisneros got free with Daniel Păvăloae in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vivant's goalie prevented a goal. Clemente Cisneros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Daniel Păvăloae made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Youri Van Der Talen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniel Păvăloae. The goal made the score 2-0. Daniel Păvăloae made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Larry Hallam sent off a good shot on target. Vivant were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Metal Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Youri Van Der Talen took the corner. The corner ended in Youri Van Der Talen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae did a great save. In the 33rd minute Martín Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but A.J. 关平 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Metal Juniors were awarded a corner. Jonatan Dantae went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40th minute Hilário Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Păvăloae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Lipets in the 42nd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Larry Hallam took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Daniel Păvăloae to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martín Palermo made a kick off. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Hallam in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larry Hallam in the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Claitinho Marley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Hilário Bento came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martín Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without A.J. 关平 having to interfere. Metal Juniors made a substitution. Haroldo Nayely replaced Jonatan Dantae. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Cisneros in the 69th minute of play. A.J. 关平 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Dennis in the 71st minute of play. Sergio Dennis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Miguel Sotero got a free kick in the 74th minute. Daniel Păvăloae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Cisneros in the 80th minute of the match. Clemente Cisneros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Păvăloae having to interfere. There was no doubt that Vivant were the better team. Vivant's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
