Bem Bolado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Sergey Vakov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Bem Bolado booed when Turmalina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
