Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Özbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sulo Montaña sped through Scorpions -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walter Zenga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Walter Zenga in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 21st minute of play. LOI's Habib Durukan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Traian Uzuneanu, made in the 25th minute of the game. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sulo Montaña stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Tinu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Numan Tanuğur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but George Buturugã made a huge save. Sulo Montaña took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kerimhan Cevher managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOI's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerimhan Cevher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Zenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Özgür Özbay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Zenga was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
