In the 11th minute Ferid Eker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iker Hidalgo, 1-0. Iker Hidalgo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özgür Özbay went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Galo came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LOI's George Buturugã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Guerra in the 24th minute of play. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Galo in the 35th minute of the match. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Velho Barreiro FC from getting a goal against them. Sulo Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

LOI's Eriberto Segio was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. LOI's attentive Habib Durukan managed to snatch the ball when Milcho Rakov made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Buturugã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferid Eker in the 55th minute. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sulo Montaña in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Iker Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 66th minute of play.
