David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Numan Tanuğur in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Numan Tanuğur came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scorpions -MM-'s Gică Popescu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 30th minute Numan Tanuğur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zvonimir Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Numan Tanuğur to make the kick off. Leroy Kluttig hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zvonimir Prestin. In the 89th minute Numan Tanuğur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristinel Zdrobiş was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Zvonimir Prestin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zvonimir Prestin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3.
