The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ren Jie Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Kann. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Ren Jie Fan sped through WWW LENINGRAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliver Kann. In the 21st minute, Paulinho Ralf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Ivanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrey Ivanov made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GeRaÇãO-83's Dionisio Gonzo. After 27 minutes of play, GeRaÇãO-83's Didi Couto made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Kann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oliver Kann came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan. But to his dismay, Ren Jie Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After a rather tough play, WWW LENINGRAD's Andrey Ivanov got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Oliver Kann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ren Jie Fan went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 48thth minute of the game Ren Jie Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WWW LENINGRAD's Oliver Kann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Ren Jie Fan scored 0-9 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Kann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Didi Couto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Kann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 58th match minute, WWW LENINGRAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paramon Korzuhin to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Ren Jie Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oliver Kann, 0-11. After having played for 62 minutes, Ren Jie Fan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ren Jie Fan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig Sandström shot from long distance in the 67th minute, but Oliver Kann was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Ren Jie Fan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Oliver Kann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GeRaÇãO-83. GeRaÇãO-83's Carl Ancelotti was substituted for Didi Couto. Carl Ancelotti took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kann. Oliver Kann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-13. If Carl Ancelotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Ancelotti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Oliver Kann made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Carl Ancelotti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Kann. That made the score 0-14 in the 74 minute of play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Carl Ancelotti from a close distance when the talented Oliver Kann managed to make a qualified save. WWW LENINGRAD's players were relieved. Ren Jie Fan took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oliver Kann. Oliver Kann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. After 90 minutes, Ren Jie Fan made it 0-17 with a short kick to the right side. WWW LENINGRAD's Oliver Kann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over GeRaÇãO-83 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than WWW LENINGRAD throughout the match.
