Antonio Fioriti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. After 16 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seve Sevilla who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie and right to Javier Carmona. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute, Ke Xiong Chen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Germano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Fioriti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Antonio Fioriti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Rosendo Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Oskitz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A hard shot 44 in the game by Antonio Fioriti from a close distance when the talented Carlos Germano managed to make a qualified save. Club Atlético Atlanta's players were relieved. Teobaldo Milian charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Milian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Fioriti in the 51st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Sporting Burgas's Cedro Pantoja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 65th minute, Cedro Pantoja made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Antonio Fioriti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Fioriti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After having played for 77 minutes, Cedro Pantoja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Burgas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cedro Pantoja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Santos Oskitz got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Antonio Fioriti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedro Pantoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Jaizki hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Cedro Pantoja struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Burgas. Ke Xiong Chen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Antonio Fioriti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Burgas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
