Waldir Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 11th minute, Waldir Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Waldir Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Germano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Rene Luzea hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Waldir Urbano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Carlos Germano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Jaizki in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Corderun saved Tasso FC from getting behind. Severi Nybacka might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Germano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severi Nybacka ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Waldir Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 26th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severi Nybacka in the 30th minute of the match. Edgard Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Corderun having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Waldir Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Waldir Urbano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Milian in the 48th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Jaizki made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Eustaquio Jaizki from a close distance when the talented Silverio Corderun managed to make a qualified save. Tasso FC's players were relieved. León Zambrano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Waldir Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Urbano in the 62nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Waldir Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Waldir Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Urbano in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute Tasso FC were awarded a corner. Miguel Sequeira went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Sequeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 70 minutes into the game, Tasso FC's Waldir Urbano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 73 minutes into the game, Waldir Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tasso FC made a substitution. Juca Tasso replaced Miguel Sequeira. Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza was substituted for Waldir Urbano. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Fiúza in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Normando Fiúza made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Normando Fiúza took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 86th minute, Edward Bubczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Normando Fiúza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Tasso FC's Normando Fiúza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 95 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Fiúza came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tasso FC had played much better football throughout.
