Silverio Corderun came out of the goal and Zula Osielski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mihail Dărăscu during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute Romarinho Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Mihail Dărăscu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romarinho Riquelme made a kick off. In the 51st minute Romarinho Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasso FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after AKS Kozienice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Sequeira took the corner. AKS Kozienice's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Normando Fiúza 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The Tasso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silverio Corderun should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AKS Kozienice had won after a very even match.
