The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldir Urbano got free with Gustavo Bernebe in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixto Ereinotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Corderun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Amboy FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caio Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Urbano struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gustavo Bernebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Ereinotz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Bernebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldir Urbano went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldir Urbano in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Bernebe saved Amboy FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Waldir Urbano sped through Amboy FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Bernebe. Amboy FC's Rene Lopes was substituted for Sixto Ereinotz. Tasso FC's attentive Severi Nybacka managed to snatch the ball when Alfredo Quilo made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. When Mihail Dărăscu fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Mihail Dărăscu a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Dărăscu.
