The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gilesindo Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceandro Lozano in the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Pello Cameno. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Román Armada put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gilesindo Paredes. 9 minutes into the match, Román Armada notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Gilesindo Paredes. Gilesindo Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilesindo Paredes came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Belmiro Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belmiro Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 17th minute, Belmiro Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilesindo Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gilesindo Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelino Roman went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the game, Belmiro Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Gilesindo Paredes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th match minute, Club Deportivo O IRIXO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pello Cameno to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amuruza Alcantara in the 30th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Gilesindo Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilesindo Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Román Armada, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes of play, Los once leones Ourense's Belmiro Alvarez made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilesindo Paredes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilesindo Paredes came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Román Armada. But to his dismay, Román Armada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Gilesindo Paredes came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Amuruza Alcantara. But to his dismay, Amuruza Alcantara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fagondo Huarte to make the kick off. Gilesindo Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Jaraba went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Gilesindo Paredes got control of the ball when Belmiro Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Ramón Jaraba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilesindo Paredes. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramón Jaraba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Amuruza Alcantara made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Belmiro Alvarez immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Los once leones Ourense's Fagondo Huarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilesindo Paredes. That made the score 0-13 after 74 minutes of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Román Armada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilesindo Paredes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gilesindo Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Alvarez went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Fagondo Huarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilesindo Paredes. The goal made the score 0-15. 90 minutes into the game, Román Armada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilesindo Paredes. Román Armada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Gilesindo Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Roman in the 94th minute of play. Gilesindo Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Román Armada in the 95th minute. Gilesindo Paredes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Román Armada went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. Los once leones Ourense played a much better game than Club Deportivo O IRIXO and deserved their victory. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
