Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cayetano Behe came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Agua Santa's Laércio Neves. But to his dismay, Laércio Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Inautzi during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Dinei Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Agua Santa's Enrique Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cayetano Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Rosa in the 18th minute of the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Abreu in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Neves came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Enrique Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Behe. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Behe should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Abreu came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Generoso Malvin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Leandro Cordarin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomé Mota, 1-4. The supporters of Deportivo Balvanera booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Agua Santa were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Agua Santa's Doni Recife was substituted for Dinei Cearense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Neves to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Neves in the 57th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Eusebio Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tiago Cosme hit a great ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Balvanera from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Neves in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Behe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodosio Serapio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Rosa in the 74th minute of play. Teodosio Serapio's late challenge caught a Agua Santa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Serapio helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Behe was a little too slow when Frank Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-5. If Gilberto Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Doni Recife charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doni Recife the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Doni Recife hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Frank Rosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Behe. Frank Rosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 90th match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Agua Santa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Balvanera throughout the match.
