Ernani Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosario Parrales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Rosario Parrales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Rosa in the 8th minute of play. Agua Santa's Jânio Arantes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosario Parrales in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomé Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Iban Candamil got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when Club Deportivo O IRIXO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Gaspar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rosario Parrales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. The Agua Santa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Agua Santa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
