Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severiano Taurino ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rosario Parrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Parrales came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz. But to his dismay, Omar Fliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
