Agua Santa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Shadows the free kick. Oséas Trigo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Bock in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Valladares came free, but Jens Molander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agua Santa's Tomé Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Häll in the 23rd minute of play. Jens Molander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernani Valladares in the 28th minute. A collision led to The Shadows getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stig Trillkott hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Häll in the 36th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Tomé Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Thomas Häll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomé Mota. Agua Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Häll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Häll in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Häll to make the kick off. Elliott Klemensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Mota having to make a save. In the 57th minute of the match, Thomas Häll tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomé Mota saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jens Molander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Trigo in the 69th minute of play. Rafael Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Agua Santa made a substitution. William Luz replaced Frank Rosa. Elliott Klemensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Mota having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Abreu. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Sidney da Mata got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jens Molander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Agua Santa's William Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Agua Santa's Tomé Mota got control of the ball when Thomas Häll tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Shadows's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
