When Christian Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Almkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Christian Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claus Himschoot stood somewhat misplaced when Christian Almkvist came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. 24 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claus Himschoot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute Emanuele Biavati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Abascal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Claus Himschoot made a huge save. The corner led C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Pol Petton to fire away a dangerous shot which Claus Himschoot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 35 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Biavati. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Almkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claus Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Almkvist in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes PomeziaRamblers got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Varan. 44 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Scibilia came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claus Himschoot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Almkvist in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Almkvist to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 had won after a very even match.
