Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ermanno Ottavi hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attilio Fiordelisi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Aureliano Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 30th minute of the match. AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ermanno Ottavi, made in the 31st minute of the game. After 33 minutes, Emilio Grimaldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mims and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emilio Grimaldi hit a great ball. When AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Mims's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 36th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emilio Grimaldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Eztebe was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Karlo to make the kick off. After some careless play in the AFC FUSION defense, Ermanno Ottavi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Eztebe. The AFC FUSION fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Eztebe should have stopped the shot. AFC FUSION's Segundo Vito was substituted for Guido Txindoki. AFC FUSION's Gabriel Diaz was substituted for Wojciech Fiszer. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Improta in the 79th minute of play. Enrico Improta took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Di Meo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
