INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Perez's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Perez helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Perez. After 31 minutes, Cornelio Inge made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Valhalla Time's Murilo Peixoto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Inge in the 33rd minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Murilo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Inge came free, but Murilo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valhalla Time's Amaury Hulsen got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Inge made a kick off. In the 54th minute Amaury Hulsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Amaury Hulsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Valhalla Time fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Valhalla Time's Amaury Hulsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 71 minutes of play, Valhalla Time's Amaury Hulsen made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Iván Kuzmenko got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Amaury Hulsen sped through INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Perrando. 83 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Murilo Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Inge. Valhalla Time's Murilo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Inge in the 85th minute of play. Murilo Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Inge in the 90th minute of play. Murilo Peixoto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Veto in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Valhalla Time could leave the field as winners, despite INDEPENDIENTE F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
