In the 4th match minute, Valhalla Time was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Rogelio Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valhalla Time and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valhalla Time's Rogelio Mino got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Genko Balevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Hulk Fenomeno got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Amaury Hulsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adan Sein was slow to take the kick. During this time Valhalla Time's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Valhalla Time's Adan Sein to fire away a dangerous shot which Melquiades Amor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Edmundo Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valhalla Time the free kick. The supporters of Valhalla Time booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genko Balevski in the 21st minute of play forced Valhalla Time's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Angel Comizzo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rogelio Mino got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 34th minute, Rogelio Mino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genko Balevski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amaury Hulsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Adan Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Amaury Hulsen made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Valle hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Adan Sein. Amaury Hulsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Genko Balevski came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Genko Balevski hit a great ball. During the 64th minute of the match Genko Balevski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Genko Balevski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes, Valhalla Time's Adan Sein shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Amor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valhalla Time reached it. 68 minutes into the game, Hulk Fenomeno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valhalla Time the free kick. Valhalla Time's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Fenomeno in the 74th minute of play. Hulk Fenomeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Comizzo having to interfere. Hulk Fenomeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Angel Comizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Thorvaldsson took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Comizzo. Angel Comizzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Despite being the better team, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
