After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Emanuel Markham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KEZ Toppfotball the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Markham in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bjørnar Bach saved KEZ Toppfotball from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Frode Tobiassen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KEZ Toppfotball's Bjørnar Bach. Bjørnar Bach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Markham in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bjørnar Bach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frode Tobiassen in the 14th minute of play forced KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper Bjørnar Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Emanuel Markham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KEZ Toppfotball's Bjørnar Bach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Emanuel Markham sped through KEZ Toppfotball's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bjørnar Bach. 20 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bjørnar Bach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Emanuel Markham scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjørnar Bach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roar Grønningsæter. 28 minutes into the match, KEZ Toppfotball's goal looked a bit too open when Frode Tobiassen came free, but Bjørnar Bach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Kai Østbye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Markham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørnar Bach having to interfere. Jarle Hoddevik hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, KEZ Toppfotball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Kenneth Tangerud to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Emanuel Markham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bjørnar Bach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 minutes, Roar Grønningsæter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KEZ Toppfotball and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Roar Grønningsæter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bjørnar Bach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roar Grønningsæter to make the kick off. Kai Østbye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørnar Bach having to interfere. After 53rd play minutes Emanuel Markham shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Bjørnar Bach and just under the crossbar into goal. Stein-Roger Oksnes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Kenneth Tangerud in the 61st minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bjørnar Bach didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Bjørnar Bach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Arne Bruvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Arne Bruvik succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. Bjørnar Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Arne Bruvik in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Østbye to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Fabian Bjørgum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KEZ Toppfotball's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nils-Arne Bruvik 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Nils-Arne Bruvik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bjørnar Bach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. After 96 played minutes KEZ Toppfotball got a freekick which was hit by Anders Lundemo. With an all-out effort, Brufoss IL's Bjørnar Bach threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils-Arne Bruvik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Brufoss IL could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KEZ Toppfotball throughout the match.
