Emanuel Markham started the match with the kick off. Kai Østbye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Jadymy Durś was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugon Ankiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zdzislaw Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Gustaw Paprotny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jadymy Durś's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brufoss IL the free kick. After 10 played minutes Jadymy Durś got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Paprotny. After 17 minutes, Kai Østbye mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the Jadymy Durś players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Østbye to maneuver through the defense. Cyryl Rybak took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Opdal. Leif Opdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cyryl Rybaks short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Leif Opdal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cyryl Rybak had several of the Brufoss IL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Leif Opdal as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Jadymy Durś getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Damian Pilarski hit a great ball. Zdzislaw Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frode Tobiassen in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Østbye in the 31st minute of play forced Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Tobiassen in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Cyryl Rybak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Emanuel Markham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdzislaw Jerzyk. Jadymy Durś's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Markham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 47th minute, Cyryl Rybak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Remigiusz Kalak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Kalak in the 67th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jadymy Durś's Zdzislaw Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Markham in the 70th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Brufoss IL's Zdzislaw Jerzyk threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Markham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes into the match, Emanuel Markham dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zdzislaw Jerzyk, 3-4. Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Rybak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cyryl Rybak put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leif Opdal. After 84 played minutes Jadymy Durś got a freekick which was hit by Hugon Ankiewicz. With his leg Zdzislaw Jerzyk managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Brufoss IL's Eric Ferstad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brufoss IL's Nils-Arne Bruvik got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Bjørgum. 92 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's Tymoteusz Wielopolski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
