In the 27th minute of the match, Endre Sámuel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jannes Van Leempoel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Jez Toulson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jannes Van Leempoel to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute, Suat Kaya made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Bezerra. Bohemians Praa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Leonardo Bezerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suat Kaya in the 37th minute of the match. When Genk's Suat Kaya in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bohemians Praa's goalie prevented a goal. Quentin Pope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suat Kaya in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by 邵泉林. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

A collision led to Genk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Thomas-Jan Van de Weijer hit a great ball. Leonardo Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Suat Kaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goal looked a bit too open when Suat Kaya came free, but Leonardo Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannes Van Leempoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Gomersall, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience was convinced that Suat Kaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Bezerra was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 72 minutes, Suat Kaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Suat Kaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endre Sámuel in the 76th minute of play forced Genk's goalkeeper Jannes Van Leempoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Bohemians Praa's goalkeeper Leonardo Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rain De Hond. 81 minutes into the match, Quentin Pope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannes Van Leempoel. Genk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quentin Pope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Bohemians Praa's Jude Parry was substituted for Jez Toulson. Bohemians Praa's Leonardo Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suat Kaya in the 87th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Bohemians Praa got a freekick which was hit by Lance Gomersall. In the 92nd minute, Jude Parry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jannes Van Leempoel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bohemians Praa had won after a very even match.
