Mariusz Bejgier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paskal Ayarza in the 47th minute of the match. René Orlando kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Emmanuel was the one to do the kick off. After taking down the ball on Unión De Santa Fe's corner Celso Quintyn fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mariusz Bejgier quite easily take care of the ball. The Unión De Santa Fe fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Unión De Santa Fe's Paskal Ayarza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Unión De Santa Fe's Paskal Ayarza got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mariusz Bejgier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Unión De Santa Fe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hagfors.
