After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Grigoriy Melnichenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo De Jonge came out of the goal and Grigoriy Melnichenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Vliegplein from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo De Jonge saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. The Bayern München FC. fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Bayern München FC.'s Grigoriy Melnichenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo De Jonge saved KFC Vliegplein from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koen Rosbach to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Louis Jannes to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match Paul-Louis Jannes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Péter Kun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Bayern München FC. booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endel Darmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigoriy Melnichenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo De Jonge having to make a save. In the 33rd minute Grigoriy Melnichenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Octaaf Bosmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Teo De Jonge made an important save on a dangerous shot by András Törőcsik in the 42nd minute. Géza Tamás lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 44 played minutes Bayern München FC. got a freekick which was hit by Géza Tamás. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endel Darmer in the 45th minute of play forced Bayern München FC.'s goalkeeper Péter Kun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Vliegplein's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Endel Darmer in the 46th minute. The corner led KFC Vliegplein's Endel Darmer to fire away a dangerous shot which Péter Kun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diederick Englebert to make the kick off. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Czakó in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Grigoriy Melnichenko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teo De Jonge. KFC Vliegplein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grigoriy Melnichenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Bayern München FC.'s Robin Bäcklin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo De Jonge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo De Jonge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko in the 68th minute of the match. Robin Bäcklin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Grigoriy Melnichenko struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Teo De Jonge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayern München FC.. Grigoriy Melnichenko took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo De Jonge. Teo De Jonge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Grigoriy Melnichenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Bayern München FC. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Robin Bäcklin hit a great ball. Endel Darmer, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bayern München FC. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
