The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Stenberg got free with Okanalp Öksal in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Okanalp Öksal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Fagerberg scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Okanalp Öksal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loco De Remate's Amado Nisio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Morgan Björkdahl in the 20 minute of the game. Edwin Ahlstedt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of Loco De Remate booed when Rönnöfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Ahlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Aires in the 30th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Sten Hökqvist. After 46 played minutes, Loco De Remate's Leandro Virila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loco De Remate reached it. Rönnöfors FF made a substitution. Torsten Åman replaced Arne Stor. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Aires to make the kick off. Magne Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loco De Remate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
