Ivan Nisio came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Lima could save by the left post. In the 19th play minute Melchor Garoa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rodrigo Lima. 1-0. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Machados FC V2 from getting a goal against them. If Máximo Speedtsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Nisio came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Machados FC V2 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hildeberto Cortez hit a great ball. Machados FC V2's Matthias Tham was substituted for Hildeberto Cortez. 37 minutes into the match, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Mailat came free, but Luis Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Luis Mejía played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Mailat in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima got control of the ball when Melchor Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ovidio Jokin in the 45th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Roland Schiavi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Nisio made a kick off. Rodrigo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Nisio's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Garoa in the 52nd minute of play. Melchor Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Kožený came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
