Enzo Díaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Guimarães having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Héctor Mainer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Héctor Mainer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Héctor Mainer took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tony Guimarães was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Héctor Mainer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 赵国弘 in the 22nd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Mainer in the 36th minute of the match. Amadeo Amato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eurico Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Mainer, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Héctor Mainer made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Héctor Mainer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Guimarães. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Héctor Mainer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 55 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tony Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kobi Usabiaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Guimarães having to make a save. After 68 minutes of play, Achtung Babies's Kobi Usabiaga made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when 赵国弘 came free, but Eurico Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Achtung Babies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodoro Primo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sixto Manilan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eurico Velloso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kobi Usabiaga struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tony Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achtung Babies. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobi Usabiaga in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Kobi Usabiaga made a precise shot to the right of Tony Guimarães. C. A. Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. When Sixto Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Atlanta's protests and gave Sixto Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Sixto Manilan got a free kick in the 94th minute. C. A. Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
