Renato Portalupi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mancaş having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Austin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Austin charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Austin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atletic Elooo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atletic Elooo's Clemente Mancaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Atletic Elooo from getting a goal against them. Clemente Mancaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Till Slesinski in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Sait Baray got a free kick in the 80th minute. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. François-Xavier Castello replaced Isaias Erroman. Atletic Elooo made a substitution. Grégory Gardette replaced Joaquin Austin.
