Mahmoud Parsi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Kryspin Wyrostek made a huge save. Shaheen Barzegar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bamshad Gohari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Milko in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jurand Klocko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Emad Ashjari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Wyrostek came out of the goal and Emad Ashjari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Emad Ashjari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastern Kurdistan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emad Ashjari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Eastern Kurdistan FC booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Kochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Mahmoud Parsi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 44th minute Emad Ashjari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Wyrostek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Shaheen Barzegar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahmoud Parsi got free with Kryspin Wyrostek in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Jestrimski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bamshad Gohari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Jestrimski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shaheen Barzegar couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Mahmoud Parsi came free, but Kryspin Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eastern Kurdistan FC's Shahrooz Rouhi pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Wojciech Rosiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
