In the 15th minute, Mahyar Taherpour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Eastern Kurdistan FC's Shahrooz Rouhi got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 21 minutes, Mahmoud Parsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeca de Sena to make the kick off. During the 61st minute of the match Mahmoud Parsi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mahmoud Parsi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mahmoud Parsi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Eastern Kurdistan FC's Emad Ashjari got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Shaheen Barzegar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cristóvão da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bamshad Gohari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Marcinho Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaheen Barzegar during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emad Ashjari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Marques having to interfere.
