Villiam Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Kilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Alebäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Lars Frykberg. Thanks to some nice moves Kenny Ekeberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Casper Kleen however easily saved by the left post. After 22 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Folke Bergqvist. In the 26th minute of the match, Kenny Ekeberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Kleen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, Henry Alebäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Villiam Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karlsborg's goalkeeper Villiam Andersson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Lars Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. With a little luck, Karlsborg's Villiam Andersson got control of the ball when Jan Ekenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Henry Alebäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Villiam Andersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Casper Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Magnusson in the 64th minute of play. Villiam Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Sandström in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute Edvard Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlsborg's Villiam Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. After 88th play minutes Henry Alebäck shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Villiam Andersson and just under the crossbar into goal. Villiam Andersson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emanuel Stål. In the 99th minute Edvard Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mean Machine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mean Machine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
