Felix Laremans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Romelio in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Van Boeckost during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgard Ler might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Laremans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
