Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaspar Vazquez made the kick off which started today's match. PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Komar in the 7th minute of play. Derek Neyens hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Donatello Incera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Bueno got free with Edgar Badia in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arash Eagle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Donatello Incera. If Romelio Komar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Badia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Cesario Bajo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Derek Neyens might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Badia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derek Neyens ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Bueno in the 40th minute of play. Arash Eagle kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Somayina Cartagena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Bueno got free with Edgar Badia in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

In the 52nd minute Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Badia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotero Arizabalo's late challenge caught a PERSPOLIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sotero Arizabalo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Fohat Neyen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotero Arizabalo to maneuver through the defense. Arash Eagle's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oto Hierro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Fohat Neyen's zone, Gaspar Vazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oto Hierro came out of the goal and Gaspar Vazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Carlitos Belalcaraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Fohat Neyen's Somayina Cartagena tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Derek Neyens kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 67 minutes, Arash Eagle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERSPOLIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arash Eagle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Gaspar Vazquez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oto Hierro, passed just outside the right post. 74 minutes into the match, Fohat Neyen's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Incera came free, but Oto Hierro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Merino during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Derek Neyens came free, but Edgar Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Carlos Bueno put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Badia. Carlitos Belalcaraz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Romelio Komar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fohat Neyen's supporters rose to their feet, but Romelio Komar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Badia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, Romelio Komar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Badia. PERSPOLIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romelio Komar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fohat Neyen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
