Gaspar Vazquez started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Goiz Calvo during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Goiz Calvo. Edgar Badia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Widberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tallboda Gunners getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Pål Ström hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Arash Eagle came free, but Henning Hernström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlitos Belalcaraz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Arash Eagle in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henning Hernström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th minute, Gregorio Villafane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tallboda Gunners's Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesario Bajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Badia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Erik Ahlbom in the 26th minute of play. Wiktor Wallander, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kalle Helberg charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalle Helberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Tallboda Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Helberg.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Erik Ahlbom was the one to do the kick off. Gaspar Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arash Eagle in the 56th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Henning Hernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Gaspar Vazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Hernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tallboda Gunners defense, Pedro León kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Hernström. The Tallboda Gunners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Hernström should have stopped the shot. If Arash Eagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henning Hernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vazquez in the 67th minute of play. Gaspar Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Wallander made a great header on Tallboda Gunners's corner, it was just that PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia managed to reach the ball for a save. If Arash Eagle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pål Ström. In the 85th minute, Gaspar Vazquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henning Hernström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gregorio Villafane kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Arash Eagle took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Hernström. Henning Hernström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Tallboda Gunners's Sören Arenstedt got a free kick in the 97th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arash Lara in the 98th minute of play forced Tallboda Gunners's goalkeeper Henning Hernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PERSPOLIS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tallboda Gunners for a fine match.
